You want to enter a manually determined pension amount for a particular entitlement. This is then to be issued in a statement.

Standard settings

In this view you create the entitlement assignment and assign the entitlement and, if required, a benefit type to the entitlement assignment. In the value types CPS infotype (229) you can use the entitlement assignment to maintain value type entries for each entitlement assignment.

Recommendation

Maintain the entitlement assignment only if you want to maintain value types in the infotype that require an assignment to the entitlement.

If this is not the case, you can hide field APTYP of the infotype in Customizing table T588M.
