Use

You can use this Customizing activity to specify the rules for calculating costs for the pension equalization payment.

This calculation involves determining the costs that an enterprise deducts from a calculated legal right to future pension payments before the distribution proposal is determined (such as administration costs for the pension equalization payment to be carried out).

Standard settings

Activities

To specify rules for calculating costs for the pension equalization payment, proceed as follows:

  1. Start the activity, enter a two-character ID in the dialog box#s entry field, in line with your specifications, and confirm your entry.
  2. Assign a name to your rules# two-character ID.
  3. Fill the Periods and PEP: Cost Calculation for Equalization Payment group boxes as per your specifications.
    Two selection buttons are available for calculating costs in group box PEP: Cost Calculation for Pension Equalization Payment:
    1. Share
      Specify a percentage (related to the calculated net present value) for cost calculation. If the amount determined using the percentage is more than or less than the entry values for a minimum amount or a maximum amount, the minimum or maximum amount applies.
    2. Fixed amount
      Specify a fixed amount for cost calculation that is independent of the specific net present value.
  4. Choose Save.
