You can use this Customizing activity to specify rules with the factors for calculating the net present value, depending on the person#s age and gender.

Activities

To specify rules with factors for calculating net present values, proceed as follows:

  1. Start the activity, enter a four-character ID in the dialog box#s entry field and, if necessary, a year of birth, in line with your specifications. Confirm your entry.
  2. Assign a name to your rules# four-character ID.
  3. Fill in the factors table in line with your specifications.
    If entering manually, the following entry fields are available for each entry line:
    1. Age
      In this entry field, specify an age for which the actuarial factor applies.
    2. Both, Woman, Man
      Use the selection buttons to select the gender.
    3. Valid from # Valid to
      Enter the validity interval in these entry fields.
    4. AnnFactor (annuitization factor)
      In this entry field, specify the relevant actuarial factors.

      Note:
      Check whether there is a customer-defined report available for filling the factors table that automatically transfers the values from an actuary to the table.

  4. Choose Save.
