You can use this Customizing activity to specify the rules for controlling the calculation of the pension equalization payment.

Using these rules, the Pension Equalization Payment: Distribution Proposal Determination (RPCAVVD0) report carries out the net present value calculation by calling the Pension Determination (RPCWPCD0) report.

Activities

To specify rules for calculation controlling, proceed as follows:

1. Start the activity, enter a four-character ID in the dialog box#s entry field, in line with your specifications, and confirm your entry.
2. Assign a name to your rules# four-character ID.
3. Fill the PEP: Calculation Control for Pension Equalization Payment table as per your specifications.
   The following entry fields are available for each entry line:
1. To age
   The rules are valid until this age. You can specify an age directly in this entry field.
2. Fct. age (function age)
   The rules are valid until this age. In this entry field, you can specify a customer-defined function ID that is used to determine the age.
3. Valid from # Valid to
   Enter the validity interval in these entry fields.
4. VT ER (Processing type: own pension)
   In this entry field, enter the processing type for calculating the own pension for calculating the legal rights to future pension payments.
5. VT HR (Processing type: surviving dependent#s pension)
   In this entry field, enter the processing type for calculating the surviving dependent's pension for calculating the legal rights to future pension payments.
6. Key date
   In this entry field, you can specify a function ID that is used to calculate the key date.
4. Choose Save.
