In this work step you specify how your custom wage types flow into the standard, notional gross full-time amounts for semiretirement. You maintain processing class 70 for your custom wage types to do this.
Example
In your company, you use the statutory semiretirement model called STATUTE as well as a standard semiretirement model called STANDARD.
The following apply for semiretirement model STANDARD:
- The semiretirement model is implemented as a block model with a work phase (employment percentage: 50%) and a release from work phase.
- The basis for calculating the PI increase amount is a standard, notional full-time gross amount that differs from the statutory, notional full-time gross amount.
- When calculating the PI increase amount and minimum net amount, the holiday bonus is included in the standard, notional full-time gross amount at 70% of the amount. This is independent of the semiretirement phase and working time percentage.
- All other wage types flow into the notional gross amounts with the same amount as the working time percentage.
In this case, you encode the holiday bonus wage type in processing class 70 with specification S.
You also maintain view V_T5DA3 (assessment basis for semiretirement model). There, you enter 70% in the PI%Rate FTGross field for the STANDARD semiretirement model, the two semiretirement phases, and the holiday bonus wage type. This ensures that the holiday bonus wage type flows in at a level of 70% in the standard, notional semiretirement gross amount to the STANDARD semiretirement model.
You must also maintain view V_T5DA3 for your second semiretirement model, STATUTE. Enter 100% in the PI%Rate FTGross field for the STATUE semiretirement model, the two semiretirement phases, and the <>ZH>holiday bonus wage type. This ensures that the holiday bonus wage type flows into the standard, notional full-time gross amounts at the level of the working time percentage for the PI increase and the flat-rate minimum net amount.
The MinNet% FTGross field is not evaluated in the standard system. If a wage type for the full-time amount for the PI increase and for the full-time amount for the calculation of the minimum net amount are to be projected to different percentages, you must also maintain the MinNet% FTGross field. In this case, you must set up an additional fictitious run to calculate the full-time gross amount for the calculation of the minimum net amount. Separate rules similar to the DAF2 and DAF5 projection rules must be used in this fictitious run In these rules, instead of using operation DATZ HR, the operationDATZ HM (standard) or DATZ HN (statutory) are used for specification S in processing class 70.
You encode any remaining wage type in processing class 70 with specification 2.
Requirements
You have set up a fictitious payroll run (with or without fictitious run control).
You have set up your semiretirement model and semiretirement phases.
Standard settings
Processing class 70 is not maintained in the standard system. All model wage types flow into the notional full-time amount.
Recommendation
Activities
- Determine how your custom wage types need to flow into the standard, notional full-time gross amounts.
- Maintain processing class 70 accordingly.
- If you need separate projections with different assessment bases for the notional full-time amount to calculate the PI increase and for the notional full-time amount to calculate the flat-rate minimum net amount, enter the different assessment bases as well.
Further notes
The encoding of a wage type with specification S in processing class 70 applies to all semiretirement models and all semiretirement phases. However, you enter the different assessment bases in view V_T5DA3 (SR Model Assessment Bases) for each semiretirement model and semiretirement phase. If you have encoded a wage type with specification S, you must specify the assessment bases for all setmiretirement models and semiretirement phases.
Technical wage types are not encoded in the standard system, either. For individual wage types (such as /425, imputed income for cars), this leads to the wage types' flowing into the notional full-time amount. This means that the fictitious run can have false results. You must therefore check the relevant technical wage types (such as those for imputed income) for their relevance to the notional full-time amount.
