Use

In this Customizing activity, you make the following settings to add process logic to tax calculation during the payroll run:

  • Define Tax Calculation Rule

    Define the name and description for a tax calculation rule.

  • Configure Tax Calculation Rule

    Create the standard definition of tax calculation rule for minimum tax check. As per the announcement made by the State Administration of Taxation, effective as of August 1, 2012, any tax amount less than 1 yuan is reduced to zero.

  • Assign Tax Calculation Rule to Income Tax Category

    Define to which income categories a tax calculation rule applies.

Requirements

Standard settings

The standard system comes with the following two calculation rules:

  • Rule 00 - Tax reduction rule when tax amount is lower than 1 yuan

    This rule reduces any tax amount less than 1 yuan to zero.

  • Rule 00 - Tax reduction rule when tax amount is no more than 1 yuan

    This rule reduces any tax amount less than or equal to 1 yuan to zero.
