In this step, you define the employer tax group belonging to a particular Tax area and Enterprise tax ID. And you can assign the Service year calculation rule and SP Exempted amount of severance payments for the different tax groups.

Requirements

  • If the employer tax group has been defined in the system, the employee's Tax area in the Income Tax infotype (0531) is then defaulted automatically.
  • If the employer tax group has already been defined in the system, the system inputs default values for the employee's Tax area in the Income Tax infotype (0531).

To enter a new employer tax group:

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter the employer tax group.
  3. Enter the valid dates.
  4. Choose the tax area.
  5. Enter the enterprise tax ID.
  6. Enter the tax group name for the employer tax group.
  7. Save your entries.
