In this step, you define the special rule and specify the tax rate group for employees who are eligible for the special rules.

Currently, the special rule only applies to the employee tax types of foreign employees.

To configure the tax rate group for employees who are not eligible for the special rules, refer to the step Individual Income Tax -> Define Tax Withhold Fast Formula.

Standard settings

The tax rate group, known as the tax withhold fast formula, is issued by the Tax Bureau of China.

The standard SAP system contains entries which you should use.

Activity

To enter a new special rule and assign a tax rate group:

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter the number of special rule and its description.
  3. Assign a tax rate group.
  4. Save your entries.
