Use
In this Customizing activity, you specify the absence types for which you want the system to check the medical treatment period and for which you want the system to calculate deductions for long sick leave.
If you specify that you want to check the medical treatment period for a given absence type, when you enter an absence of this absence type in the Absences (2001) infotype, the system checks whether the employee's number of months¡¯ accumulated sick leave within the specified period exceeds the medical treatment period to which an employee is entitled.
If you determine that an absence type is relevant for long sick leave deductions, the system includes the absence type in the calculation for long sick leave deduction.
Note: you need to assign the corresponding employees to the group ID in Customizing: Assign Employees to Group IDs.
Requirements
You have defined all the related absence types for medical treatment period check in Customizing for Payroll China under Absences -> Group Absences for Absence Valuation.
Standard settings
Activities
For each personnel area subgrouping, specify the following:
- Whether you want the system to check the medical treatment period for absence types that you use for sick leave.
- Whether you want the system to include certain absence types in the calculation that the system performs for long sick leave.
