Use
This section enables you to enter all of the settings required for transferring external wage components, such as commissions or travel expenses, from a third-party system to the SAP payroll system via infotype 0579 External Wage Components.
You only enter external wage component settings for the SAP HR Swiss Pension Fund in the following circumstances:
- If you have also performed the Assign Wage Types to Value Types (Other Countries) activity so that you can use additional functions in the PF payroll interface.
- If you want to post data from the PF account to payroll.
The prerequisite is that you use the S or T key to assign wage types to value types. As soon as you post a value type to the account, a record of infotype 0579 External Wage Components is created.
Further notes
Payroll customizing is just a small part of the activities you must perform if you want to use the interface for transferring wage components to payroll. The larger part consists of preparing data in the third-party system and then transferring it to the interface in such a way that SAP Payroll is able to continue processing it.
