In this step, you must assign National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes and EEA categories to your organizational structure. Within that structure, NOC codes and EEA categories can be assigned to positions or jobs. While it is not necessary to maintain this data for both, you must select either the jobs or the positions in your organizational structure and assign NOC codes and EEA categories to your selection.
Activities
To assign NOC codes and EEA categories to jobs, perform the following steps.
Execute this IMG step. In the dialog box that follows, select the first option:
Assign NOC codes/EEA categories to jobs
On the subsequent screen, select a job and choose Details.
On the next screen, for each job to be configured, assign the appropriate values in the NOC code and EEA category fields.
Save your entries.
Select Next entry (F8) and repeat steps 3. through 5. until values have been assigned to all jobs.
To assign NOC codes and EEA categories to positions, perform these steps.
Execute this IMG step. In the dialog box that follows, select the second option:
Assign NOC codes/EEA categories to positions
On the subsequent screen, for each position, assign the appropriate values in columns EEA and NOC.
