In this step, you must assign National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes and EEA categories to your organizational structure. Within that structure, NOC codes and EEA categories can be assigned to positions or jobs. While it is not necessary to maintain this data for both, you must select either the jobs or the positions in your organizational structure and assign NOC codes and EEA categories to your selection.

Activities

To assign NOC codes and EEA categories to jobs, execute the following procedure:

  1. Choose System --> Services --> Table maintenance.
  2. In the Table field, enter T5K13.
  3. Select View maintenance.
  4. On the screen that follows, select a job and choose Details.
  5. Assign the appropriate values to the NOC Code and EEA category fields.
  6. Save your entries.

Repeat Steps 4. through 6. until values have been assigned to all jobs.

To assign NOC codes and EEA categories to positions, execute this procedure:

  1. Choose System --> Services --> Table maintenance.
  2. In the Table field, enter T5K14.
  3. Select View maintenance.
  4. On the screen that follows, assign values in columns EEA and NOC for each position.
  5. Save your entries.
