In this step, you enter the work cities of the non-resident employees of your enterprise. This information enables the system to perform T4A-NR processing.
Prerequisites
Your enterprise employs non-resident employees.
You have created records in the Local statistics subtype (2) of the Statistics infotype (0033) for these employees.
Standard settings
As delivered, the standard system does not feature pre-configured work cities for non-resident employees.
Activities
Execute this IMG step. On the subsequent screen, select New entries.
Under the Exception column, enter an arbitrary four-character code of your choosing for each work city in which your enterprise employs non-resident employees.
For each work city entered in step 2., enter the full name of the city under the Exception text column.
For each work city entered in steps 2. and 3., enter 01.01.nnnn under the Start date column, where nnnn is the four-digit number corresponding to the previous calendar year. Under the End date column, enter 31.12.9999.
Save your entries, exit the transaction, and proceed to the next IMG step.
When you complete configuration for Year End Reporting, return to the non-resident employee records in Infotype 0033 (subtype 2, statistics group 03) and maintain their work cities, if you have not done so already.
Note
Any descriptions that you may choose to enter under Reference are strictly for the internal use of your enterprise. These comments are not used elsewhere in the system, nor will they appear on any form to be submitted to CRA.
