Any absence types that need to be processed for CSP must belong to the personnel subarea grouping (PSG) for absence and attendance types. In this step, you assign CSP-relevant absence types to the PSG for continuous sick pay.
In the second activity, maintain rule 07DTY. Here you must ensure that there is an entry for each subtype of infotype 41. The subtype is actually an absence type. The standard setting for each subtype is 01, which means that you must maintain a date type in infotype 41 that will be used to determine the hire date for use in the calculation of service units for that employee. This date specification is required because the hire date as recorded in infotype 0000 does not always reflect the same date the employee became eligible for the plan.
