Use

In this IMG step, you convert the old institutions tables T5B9A and T5B9P by means of the relevant report (RPUINSB0), without affecting the existing data.

The entity-relevant data is retrieved from the above-mentioned tables and written to the following tables:

  • Companies (T5B1S),
  • Personnel subareas (T5B1P),
  • Institutions (T5F99IE).

In addition, the following information is transferred to the relevant relationships tables:

  • Registration numbers of the company at the various institutions (T5B1H).
  • Registration numbers of the subarea at the various institutions (T5B1R).

Note

The new fields in the new tables have to be maintained manually by the customer himself, who should also check whether the data has been transferred successfully.

Make sure you have maintained the following activities:

Activate International Addresses

Maintain Customer Languages

Maintain Institution Addresses

Standard settings

Per default, the report is run in test mode. Clear this field to perform the conversion.

Note

Do not execute the conversion report twice.

Activities

  1. Clear the Test run field if necessary.
  2. Choose Execute (F8) to run the report. A log file is displayed, containing any errors that may have occurred during conversion.
