Use

In this IMG step, you check the various tables needed for the payroll part of the DMFA functionality. Note that only the last two views should be maintained by the customer.

  • T5BD8 and T5BD9
    Contain the official service and remuneration codes, respectively. Do not change them unless necessary.
  • V_T5F99FV
    Contains the remuneration and service codes grouped according to country and subapplication, in our case Belgium and DMFA, respectively. The DMFA subapplication enables you to classify groupings exclusively for DMFA purposes.
  • V_5F99FV_A
    Contains the frequencies of payment grouped according to country.
  • V_T5F99FW
    Contains wage types assigned to a specific remuneration or service group.
  • V_5F99FW_A
    Contains wage types assigned to a specific frequency of payment group.
  • V_T5F99FX
    Enables you to assign customer wage types to a specific remuneration or service group. Maintain this view if you want to include additional wage types.
  • V_5F99FX_A
    Enables you to assign customer wage types to a specific frequency of payment group. Maintain this view if you want to include additional wage types.

Note

The naming conventions are as follows:

  • Remuneration codes begin with R+++ (+++ stands for the official code).
  • Service codes begin with S+++ (+++ stands for the official code).
  • Payment frequencies begin with PF++ (++ stands for the periodicity).

No preliminary steps required.

Standard settings

The tables T5BD8 and T5BD9 are shipped with the official codes. In contrast, the remaining tables are shipped with model entries you can change to meet your business needs.

Activities

To assign wage types to a specific remuneration or service group:

  1. Choose the activity Assign cust. wage types to a specific rem. or service group.
  2. Enter the relevant country grouping and subapplication.
  3. Choose a record or create a new entry.
  4. Select the applicable container. This can be one of the following: wage type, processing class, evaluation class, cumulation wage type or wage type group.
  5. If you choose the wage type container, you must enter a wage type in the Value field and specify whether it is added or subtracted and which wage type value is applicable (amount, rate or number). If you opt or Rate, you can decide whether or not to increase it by entering a percentage in the relevant field.
  6. If you choose the processing class container, however, you must enter a class instead (the same goes for evaluation classes). If you enter for example processing class 82, all the wage types that have been configured accordingly will be retrieved.
  7. Save your entries.
  8. Repeat the previously mentioned steps for any other wage types.

To assign wage types to a specific frequency of payment group:

  1. Choose the activity Assign cust. wage types to a specific freq. of payment group.
  2. Follow the steps as described above.
