Use

In this IMG step, you maintain additional SI contributions by:

  • Creating a modifier used in table Additional Social Insurance Contributions (T5BD3).
  • Setting the default modifier in the aboved-mentioned table.
  • Changing or creating the necessary SI contributions.

Requirements

No preliminary steps required.

Standard settings

The SAP is shipped with an empty table.

Activities

To create or change a modifier:

  1. Choose the activity Maintain modifier.
  2. Click New entries.
  3. Enter a 4-character code (alphanumeric) and a description.
  4. Save your entries.

To change feature BMOSI:

  1. Choose the activity Maintain feature and make the necessary changes. The return value of the feature is stored in table Definition of modifiers for additional contributions (T5BD4).

To create or change an SI contribution:

  1. Choose the activity Maintain additional SI contributions.
  2. Enter the modifier you have defined in the previous step.
  3. Choose the relevant employer category.
  4. Click New entries.
  5. Choose the relevant employee category (categories are used to group employees according to SI properties).
  6. Delimit the record.
  7. Specify either the base wage type used to calculate the SI contribution (base x rate=contribution) or a fixed amount.
  8. Specify the cumulation wage type the calculated SI contribution amount should be copied to.
  9. Specify whether the SI contribution should be deducted either as a rate or as a fixed amount.
  10. Select the applicable contribution type.
  11. Save your entries.
