In this Customizing activity, you maintain the closing date of social insurance (SI) quarters using the SI declaration: Closing date of actual declared quarter (BECOT) feature. The closing date is the date on which the SI declaration must be closed and sent.

Payment normally occurs not later than the last day of the month following the quarter, as shown below. However, customers are free to enter a more suitable date.

  • First quarter:        April 30
  • Second quarter:    July 31
  • Third quarter:    October 31
  • Fourth quarter:    January 31

Enter the date in the format YYYYMMDD. For example, April, 30 should be entered as follows: 20000430.

Standard settings

In the SAP R/3 system, the default settings for the year 2000 are as follows:

  • First quarter:        20000420 (April 20, 2000)
  • Second quarter:    20000715 (July 15, 2000)
  • Third quarter:    20001020 (October 20, 2000)
  • Fourth quarter:    20000120 (January 20, 2000)
