In this section of the implementation guide you can adapt the calculation rule used to creatie average wage types corresponding to Christmas allowance.

Creation of those wage types is based on pay scale area and type recorded on Infotype 0008, as well as on the desired off-cycle category (leave, Christmas allowance, termination).

Standard settings

SAP standard version provides calculation rule BRDM to create Christmas allowance average wage types.

Recommendation

Adapt standard calculation rule to the needs of your company. That may happen:

  1. Due to variations of pay scale areas and types.
  2. Due to use of different wage types.

Activities

  1. Check standard rule provided by SAP.
  2. Copy calculation rule BRDM to another rule with a new name. For example, ZRDM.
  3. Make all the necessary changes in new rule ZRDM.
  4. Copy sub-scheme BRAV to a new scheme with a new name allowed for customers, as for example, ZRAV.
  5. Override call of new rule ZRDM in new sub-sheme ZRAV.
  6. Override call of sub-scheme ZRAV in your payroll main scheme ZBR0.
  7. Save your entries.

Further notes

  1. If you have made changes in standard rule BRDM, please use main scheme ZBR0 whenever executing your payroll.
