In this section, you define if absence averages have as basis month days or the commercial month (30 days).

SAP standard rule offers a calculation option based on month days. You must change this rule if your company uses the commercial month as an assessment basis.

Example

Requirements

You must have copied sub-scheme BRAL to a sub-scheme customer-related (ZRAL, for example). Furthermore, you must have copied calculation main scheme BR00 to a new scheme, for example ZBR0 .

Recommendation

When necessary, please adapt SAP standard calculation rule to the needs of your company.

Activities

  1. Check standard rule given by SAP.
  2. Copy standard rule BR19 to a rule with a new name, for example ZR19.
  3. Make the necessary changes in new rule ZR19, taking into account:
    1. Variable KDIVI: when using month days as assessment basis.
    2. Variable KDIVP: when using commercial month (30 days) as assessment basis.
  4. Override call of new rule ZR19 in new sub-scheme ZRAL (for example).
  5. Override call of sub-scheme ZRAL in new main scheme ZBR0.
  6. Save your entries.

Further notes

  1. If you have changed the standard rule, please use main scheme ZBR0 instead of BR00, whenever executing your payroll.
