Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the modifiers that apply to Belgian absences. Modifiers are used in addition to absence codes so that absences for Belgium-specific scenarios are correctly generated in the personal calendar.
Belgium-specific absence scenarios include the following:
Employees after the probationary period and not subject to a limited contract (modifier 1)
Workers and employees on limited contracts or in their probationary periods (modifier 2)
Absence modifiers are used in combination with the employment status(ANSTA field) to generate absences in personal calendars.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard absence modifiers must not be changed (as they are in the SAP namespace). However, it is possible to define additional modifiers. If you have a special case relating to generation of absences, you can define an additional modifier using the Personal Calendar Business Add-In (BAdI) provided in the subroutine custo_get_bemod.
Activities
To create an additional absence modifier, you need to complete the following:
Maintain the table, and define an absence modifier code and description.
Save and test the changes.
If you create an absence modifier for RPIs, you also need to define the corresponding absence code in Customizing activity Define RPI absence code. The absence code is used to label an RPI absence within a personal calendar.
