Use

In this IMG step, you link personnel subareas and employee groupings to the relevant institutions, maintain registration numbers for each institution and enter the address data of your contact persons at the various institutions.

Requirements

Make sure you have implemented the relevant personnel areas and subareascorrectly and maintained the following activities:

Standard settings

The SAP system is shipped with an empty table.

Activities

  1. Click New entries.
  2. Enter a the company code. This is a 4-character key that uniquely identifies a company.
  3. Enter the institution group the institution belongs to.
  4. Enter the employee grouping.
  5. Delimit the record.
  6. Enter the 4-character code of the institution you want to link the company to.
  7. Enter the registration number of the company at the institution.
  8. Enter the function of the main contact person at the institution, as well as the following information, if available:
    • Telephone number,
    • Fax number,
    • Mobile number,
    • E-mail address.
  9. Enter the same information for the second and third contact persons, except the function.
  10. Save your entries.
  11. Repeat the previously mentioned steps for any further entries.
