Use

The company car functionality includes the process of the CO2 emission contributions as follows:

  1. The contribution is paid on an employer basis. It is the sum of the fixed monthly contributions of each employee using a company car.
  2. If an employee has several cars concurrently in a given month - two overlapping entries in infotype 442 - the employer pay the monthly contribution for each car during the month(s) of the overlapping period
  3. If an employee has several non overlapping cars in a given month, for example, if a car replaces another car, the employer pay the contribution for the most frequently used car. The unit of the frequency is the calendar day.
  4. If two or more employees use the same car in a month, the monthly contribution for this vehicle is paid only once.
  5. The contribution is declared in the <ContributionUnrelatedToNP> section with code 862 and basis zero.
  6. To calculate the contribution, you must apply this formula:

    Contribution =(C02Emission * 9 - Cx) / 12

    Cx corresponds to one of the following constants CARC1, CARC2 or CARC3 depending on the engine type. If the CO2 emission is not given, the system reads a default value from constants CARY1 or CARY2.

  7. The calculation cannot be below the minimum given in constant CARMI.
