Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the pollution categories that apply to company cars.
The pollution category is a factor that is involved in determining the company car advantage. The company car advantage is considered when determining an employee's taxable income.
Requirements
Standard settings
Valid pollution categories are published by the Belgian tax authorities.
The pollution category is recorded in the Company Car (0442) infotype, in the Price & Benefit tab and the Benefit aspects screen section. The system checks if this field is filled using the payroll function Company Car Belgium (B0442). The pollution category is determined as follows:
- If a value has been defined, the value of the field is used for the calculation
- If the field is empty, the pollution category is determined via the fuel type of the company car. The Fuel Type field is also stored in the Company Car (0442) infotype, in the Car information tab and the Car specifics screen section. The fuel types are defined in the Define Car Models Customizing activity
