The Quarterly SI declaration consists of a number of records, predefined by the National Office for Social Security.
In this step the structure of the SI declaration is defined in an automatic way.
Each record consists of two parts:
- an INDICATIVE of 18 positions;
- a DATA PART of 110 positions.
The last 3 digits of the indicative refer to the level-number and block number of the record.
The evolution of the first 15 digits depends on the value of the level. The number starts at all zeroes in the tape header records and ends at all nines in the tape ending record.
These first 15 digits of the record identification number are divided into 4 sequence numbers:
- sequence number 1 (position 1-6) increases with 1 at each change of SI-number;
- sequence number 2 (position 7-8) increases with 1 at each change of employee category;
- sequence number 3 (position 9-13) increases with 1 at each change of personnel number;
- sequence number 4 (position 14-15) increases with 1 at each change:
- of nature of the wage
- or type of assimilated day
- and/or the period
