In this step the periods of the Quarterly Social Insurance declaration are defined. The relation between the quarter number and it's actual start and end date is established for all Payroll areas to be declared.

The standard SAP R/3 System contains some examples.
Activities
- Delete the entries not used in your company.
- Generate the SI periods for all payroll areas of your company.
Further notes
The SI periods are automaticaly created by the utility RPUSIPB0.
Already existing quarter numbers are NOT replaced by this procedure: to be replaced, they have to be deleted first.
