In this step, you select the wage types you need to generate SI days/hours types.

Cycle 'Creation of special Social Insurance days' (B020) generates wage types /86n to /88n, in other words miscellaneous absences, such as sick leave, occupational disease, accident at work, guaranteed income, etc.

Requirements

Maintain processing class 67 ('Build social insurance days') in view 'Processing classes, Cumulations and Evaluation classes' (V_512W_D) for all wage types.

Standard settings

The standard SAP R/3 System contains the following values:

  • Transfer unchanged,
  • Workdays,
  • Assimilated days,
  • First 12 months of illness after guaranteed income,
  • Accident at work,
  • Occupational disease,
  • First 12 months of accident at work after guaranteed income,
  • First 12 months of occupational disease after guaranteed income.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. In scheme 'Reading in further pay and deductions' (BAP0), check the cycle that cumulates special SI days. In the standard SAP R/3 System, cycle 'Generate special SI days' (B020) is used for this purpose. If you want to use this cycle, leave the scheme unchanged.
  2. If not, copy the standard B020 cycle, rename it to Z020 and make your changes.
  3. Select a wage type and choose ' Details'.
  4. Enter the validity start date.
  5. Change the value of the processing class if necessary.
  6. Repeat these steps for the remaining wage types.
