In this step you maintain the basic tax tables. These tables serve as a basis for the generation of the scales with the monthly tax-down payments, stored in table T5BTM for residents and in table T5BTS for non-residents.
Standard settings
The following information is to be maintained:
- Table T5BTX: contains the annual reduction depending on the number of children at charge;
- Table T5BTY: contains the amounts and percentages needed to calculate the annual tax;
- Table T5BTZ: contains the amounts and percentages needed to calculate the net-taxable annual income.
Recommendation
The regular tax scales should always be created by a report that can be submitted from IMG-step Calculation of tax scales.
Further notes
A number of other reductions, like the reduction for singles or for widow(er)s with children at charge, are maintained in the constant tables. See next IMG-step Check tax constants.
