In this step, you make the settings that enable you to make your employees' remuneration statements available through the Internet/intranet.
This covers both the settings in the SAP System as well as those for creating a link to call up the form on your HTML site.
Example
You want to enable your employees to view their remuneration statement at their place of work or at home using the Internet/intranet.
Requirements
- You have made all the settings in Customizing for Personnel Management under Employee Self-Service -> General Settings for ESS.
- All employees authorized to see their remuneration statements must have a user in the SAP System.
- A user must be assigned to each employee in the Communication infotype (0105), subtype 0001 (system user name SAP system).
Standard settings
The standard system contains the feature EDTIN with the variant SAP&CALC for the remuneration statement program.
Activities If required, change the remuneration statement:
- If you do not wish to use your standard remuneration statement in the Internet, you can create a new form.
- Create a variant for your remuneration statement program by using your form.
- Enter the variant in the feature EDTIN.
Further notes
Note that the name of a form must begin with Z or a special character. The names must not contain any special HTML characters, or your changes could be overwritten with the next release upgrade.
You make further settings for displaying and using the Internet application components in Customizing for Personnel Management under Employee Self-Service.
