In this step, you determine the repayment type for your loan types and thereby distinguish between loans with installment repayment and those with annuity repayment.
Example
Your employees can make use of a building loan with either installment or annuity repayments. The building loan with installment repayment is assigned the repayment type "I". The loan with annuity repayment is assigned the repayment type "A".
Requirements
You have created loan types.
Recommendation
Copy the SAP model entries. If you use your own loan types, it is recommended that you define your loan types beginning with "91" with the repayment type "I" as installment loans and your loan types beginning with "92" with the repayment type "A" as annuity loans. As with the wage types in the standard system, this allows you to recognize from the loan type what repayment type is involved.
Activities
Assign repayment type "I" to your installment loans and repayment type "A" to your annuity loans.
Further notes
The values "I" (for installment) and "A" (for annuity) are fixed and cannot be changed or replaced.
