In this activity, you check the properties of the bonus wage types for the public sector.
These characteristics relate to the entry of wage types, not the behavior of wage types in SAP Payroll.
Example
- A particular unit of measure/time is to be proposed for the number to be entered.
- You want to valuate wage types indirectly.
Requirements
You must have defined your wage type catalog and have an overview of the characteristics of your wage types. You make the settings for this in work step Copy Model Wage Types.
In a previous step, you have checked your units of measure. You make the required adjustments in work step Check Units of Measure.
You have set up your pay scales in the previous activities.
Standard settings
The SAP standard system contains a few model wage types that you have copied to your wage type area. Your wage types have inherited the characteristics of the model wage types.
Recommendation
Activities
- Check whether the wage type characteristics meet your specific requirements.
- Select the required wage type and call up the detailed view.
- If necessary, adjust the entries to meet your requirements.
- If necessary, change the unit of measure to be proposed.
- If necessary, change the indirect valuation with your characteristics.
- The biennial bonus and administrative service bonus can be assigned different variants for indirect valuation.
