In this activity, you only copy the wage types that are saved in infotype Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014). You use the wage types created here to save the amounts from the corresponding fields of the data medium. The assignment of the fields of the data medium to the wage types is carried out in a subsequent work step.
Example
You create a wage type that contains the taxable gross of the regular payments for joint taxation. All the fields of the data medium that belong to the taxable gross of the regular payments can be cumulated in this wage type.
Activities
- Select maintenance action Copy.
You go to the maintenance interface of the wage type copier.
- In field CWType, assign a Customizing wage type to all original wage types (OWTypet) that you want to copy.
In field CWType use the customer namespace. For original wage types that start with a letter, your Customizing wage types must start with a number. For more information see Wage Type Concept.
If you confirm your entry in field CWType with Enter, the system copies the long and short text of the original wage type.
- Adapt the long and short texts of the Customizing wage types to meet your requirements.
- Select all the wage types you want to copy.
- Before an update run, check that the indicator Test Run is deselected.
With a Test Run you can check your work without actually creating new wage type.
- Choose Copy.
You get a list with an overview of the copied wage types and the change to all affected tables. You can see whether you have to manually maintain table entries subsequently, and whether errors occurred.
