In this activity, you define the physical file (including path) that is assigned to logical file name HR_AT_DATASET_GMVS and logical path HR_AT_DATASETS. The physical file is used in the standard system to read or store the data of the data medium to the server.

The logical file name HR_AT_DATASET_GMVS is used by the report RPUGVTA0PBS Upload/Download TemSe - PC/Server, Joint Taxation A.

The logical file path HR_AT_DATASETS is also used by other reports (for example for the ELDA data medium).

Standard settings

In the standard system, the logical file name HR_AT_DATASET_GMVS with logical file path HR_AT_DATASETS is converted to /tmp/HR_AT_DATASET_GMVS.

Activities

  1. In the overview, select the entry HR_AT_DATASETS and choose level Assignment of Physical Paths to Logical Path.
  2. In the field Syntax Group select your operating system and enter the physical path.
  3. Choose Save.
  4. Go back and choose the level Logical File Name Definition, Cross-Client.
  5. Choose the entry HR_AT_DATASET_GMVS and double click to display the details.
  6. Enter thee physical file.
  7. Check the entry for the logical path (HR_AT_DATASETS).
  8. Choose Save.
