In this work step, you check the definition of the insurance institutions that take part in data medium exchange for joint taxation.
The Main Association of Austrian Social Security Institutions has defined two-character names for each social insurance institution. These codes are entered in this table in field InsuranceInst. (insurance institution.
For each social insurance institution, field InsInstTyp (type of insurance institution) defines whether the institution is a federal authority (BU) or another insurance institution (UI).
Example
The code for the Austrian Railways is BB and they are a federal authority. The Vienna municipal utility company has code 1C and is not a federal authority.

Standard settings
The table is maintained by SAP. Do not make any changes to the insurance institutions.
If the table is empty, copy the entries from client 000. To do this, choose Utilities -> Adjustment.
Activities
Check whether the correct type of insurance institution is entered and change it if necessary.
