In this step, you modify the personnel calculation rule for the tax-exempt amount to suit your operational requirements.

This personnel calculation rule checks whether generating tax-exempt additional pay in accordance with § 68 (2) of the EStG statutes causes the overall limit of 5 hours to be exceeded. Any surplus hours are rebooked (along with the exact wage types) as payments that are subject to tax.

Activities

  1. Copy the personnel calculation rule to your customer name range, and only modify the copy.
  2. In your copy of the rule, replace model wage type M378 (SP 100% §68/2 liab.SI EE) with the corresponding user wage type.
  3. Replace the model wage type in the personnel calculation rule (SP 100% liable IT/SI EE) with the corresponding model wage type.
  4. Enter your copy of the rule in your customer schema
