In this step you make the settings necessary for combining the monthly and annual municipal taxes. Use the following reports to assist you:

  • RPCKSMA1 Municipal Tax (Monthly Evaluation)
  • RPCKSJA1 Municipal Tax (Annual Evaluation)

Activities

Check the value for the following constants and make changes when necessary (The taxable base corresponds to the total wages.):

  • LOHNF Municipal tax exemption

    The exemption amount reduces the rounded taxable base:

    If the rounded taxable base is less than the exemption limit (see below), the taxable base is decreased by this amount.

  • LOHNG Municipal tax exemption limit

    The exemption limit determines the limit for the taxable base:

    If the exemption limit is exceeded, the tax-free amount mentioned above is deducted.

  • LOHNP Municipal tax percentage rate

    The percentage rate is applied to the taxable base.
    (Example: Tax amounts to 3% of the taxable base.)
