In this step, you define your own garnishment group.
Requirements
You must already have created the garnishment group in the step Define Your Own Garnishment Group for Wage Types
Standard settings
In the standard system, values 1, 2, and 3 are used for processing class 73. A zero is prefixed onto the values of the garnishment group, thus the standard system uses garnishment groups 01, 02, and 03.
Recommendation
The values of processing class 73 also have to start with zero so that the system can make the assignment. An example: You have entered the value X for processing class 73. When you define the garnishment group, you must place a 0 in front of this. The resulting value is 0X.
Activities
Create your garnishment group. Enter the value 0X, 0Y or 0Z.
