Use
In this Customizing activity, you check the income scale entries for unemployment insurance (UI). These entries are set by law and are therefore not provided by SAP.
With effect of July 1, 2008, there has been a reduction in the contribution levels for low incomes, which means that some employees do not have to pay any, or just low, UI contributions. The following reduced UI levels are used to calculate the relevant UI contribution:
- Level 1 with 0% UI contribution
- Level 2 with 1% UI contribution
- Level 3 with 2% UI contribution
Where the employee#s income exceeds the upper threshold for level 3, they pay the regular UI contribution of 3%.
