In this step you define the number ranges for posting documents for listed options (product category 750) and futures (product category 700).
The posting documents document all the postings from the subledger to the FI general ledger. One posting document links to exactly one FI document.
For each company code and fiscal year in which you want to make postings, define an entry for the number range interval '01' with internal number assignment. The system then uses a unique number from this number range interval for each posting document.
Example
You might define the following number range intervals for the fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for company code 1:

Activities
For each company code and fiscal year, define an entry for the number range interval '01' with internal number assignment.
Note
The number range intervals are also used for postings from the Treasury Securities module. If you are using the Securities module and the corresponding number range intervals are already defined, you do not need to make any more settings. Do not change the 'current number' of existing number range intervals!
