Use

In this IMG activity, you select the RFC destinations of the systems in which you use the Audit Information System (AIS), and the AIS reports that you want testers to be able to use to test controls in Management of Internal Controls (MIC).

The AIS systems entered here can then be made available in MIC. From those AIS system made available, you can use the IMG activity Assign AIS Systems to Organizational Units to select the AIS system relevant for each organizational unit.

Requirements

In transaction SM59, you have configured the RFC connection to the AIS system so that logon to the AIS system occurs either via a trusted system connection or via a user with type Communication.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter a freely-definable text as the ID and name of the AIS system.
  2. Select the RFC destination of the AIS system from those available in the current system. If you run MIC and AIS in the same system, leave the Destination field empty.
  3. For it to be possible to call the reports in the Web Browser, the URL for the Internet Transaction Server (ITS) of the AIS system must be known. From Basis Release 6.40, the system can determine the ITS URL automatically. In this case, set the Determine URL Automatically indicator. In older releases, you have to enter the actual URL.
  4. In the IMG activity Assign AIS Systems to Organizational Units, specify which AIS system should be valid for which organizational unit.
