Use

After the system has been set up, table HRP1000 contains some superfluous entries that are delivered by mistake and that have "SAP" as the user who made the last change. You can use this IMG activity (which consists of two subordinate activities) to delete these superfluous entries.

If you do not delete these entries, the validity dates and the texts for the delivered object numbers will overlap with new validity dates and texts that are created.

Activities

  1. Perform the IMG activity and then perform the first subordinate activity Delete Table Entries.
  2. Accept the default settings for the selection and then choose Execute.
  3. Choose Back and then perform the second subordinate activity Rebuild Directory.
  4. You need to perform this function twice, using the following selections:
    1. Firstly, with Plan Variant = 01 (current plan) and Object Type = *
    2. Secondly, with Plan Variant = .: (never use) and Object Type = *

      In both cases, the Rebuild Directory indicator must be set.
