Use

In this IMG activity, you check whether the tasks combined in a conflict group with the current role definition and assignment are actually not allowed to be performed by one person.

Alternatively, you can perform the check in the Web application for the role assignment using the Check Segregation of Duties pushbutton.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Specify the organizational units or persons for which you want to perform the check.
  2. Enter the date interval that you want to check. The system checks all role assignments valid in this date interval.
  3. Run the check.
  4. On the left-hand side of the screen, select the organizational unit, the person, or the conflict group that you would like to analyze for conflicts.

    On the right-hand side of the screen, the system displays any roles, tasks, or objects representing a conflict in terms of the conflict group.

  5. Enter a comment for any conflicts that occur.
  6. You can use the PDF Preview to print out the result of the check.
  7. When you save the check, you can subsequently call up from the Checks Performed tab page any conflicts identified.
