Use

You use this activity to call up the Implementation Guide (IMG) for data transfers into the SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW). In this IMG, you can activate the DataSources delivered for MIC.

Requirements

  • The Service API (SAPI) Release 3.0B Version 0008 (or higher) has been implemented in the system on which you run MIC. This SAPI forms part of the software component PI_BASIS 2003_1_620, for example. To find out which SAPI version is installed, you can test the function module BWSAPI_GET_VERSION in transaction SE37.
  • Authorization profile P_PLAN_ALL must be assigned to the user ID (usually ALEREMOTE) with which the extraction is to be performed (see SAP Note 377557).

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Under Business Content DataSources -> Transfer Application Component Hierarchy, transfer the application component hierarchy from the MIC system into SAP BW.
  2. Under Business Content DataSources -> Transfer Business Content DataSources, transfer the delivered MIC DataSources into the active version.
  3. Make the other required settings in SAP BW. For more information, see the SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BI Content -> Financials -> Management of Internal Controls -> MIC Analyses (from Release BI Content 3.5.3 Add-On).
