Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the change request steps to be executed in a rule-based workflow for a particular change request type.
The steps you define are used in the Business Rule Framework plus (BRF+) tables when you are setting up the workflow rules in the Configure Rule-Based Workflow Customizing activity.
Requirements
You have customized the change request and linked it to the rule-based workflow template WS60800086 using the Create Change Request Type Customizing activity.
Standard settings
SAP delivers predefined steps for rule-based workflows with corresponding application scenarios.
Activities
Example
You want to insert a new step Approval by Executive Board into the workflow. You do the following:
- Choose New Entries and enter a change request type and a new step number in the relevant columns.
- Enter a description for the step. If required, you can also select the checkboxes in the Keys and Successful Validation Required columns.
The step you have defined will then be used in the Configure Rule-Based Workflow Customizing activity when you are setting up the workflow rules.
