Use

In this Customizing activity you can define the prefixes of the temporary keys for entity types that support internal key assignments.

Requirements

You have chosen internal key assignments for the entity type in the data model.

Standard settings

The system uses temporary keys for new entities until you activate those entities (or the change request).

If you use the setting Internal Key Assignment Only but do not define a prefix, the system uses the prefix $ by default.

Activities

You can define a prefix for each data model and entity type.
