Use
This Customizing activity supports you in configuring the ERP customer UI as an alternative to the customer UI.
In a first step the system checks, whether the Customizing settings for the CVI role and the account group meet the conditions to use the ERP customer UI:
- The Customizing activity Set BP Role Category for Direction BP to Customer must only contain one entry.
- The settings of the Customizing activity Define Number Assignment for Direction BP to Customer must either support the internal number assignment for both business partner and customer or the external number assignment for both business partner and customer. In the case of external number assignment business partner and customer must have the same numbers.

Activities
If the configuration report is executable, the CVI default role category is displayed and you can select the range of account groups, for which you want to set up the ERP customer UI. If you do not select any account group then the system tries to set up the ERP customer UI for all account groups in the system.
If you select Run in Test Mode, a list of all possible changes is displayed, without saving the changes to the database.
If you do not select Run in Test Mode, a list of all changes is displayed, and the changes are saved to the database.
SAP recommends to select Run in Test Mode and to check the results first.
If you select Transport Customizing, the Prompt for a Customizing Request dialog box is displayed, enabling you to transport the settings to other systems.
