Use
Prepayment simulation - SAP standard BADI.
Requirements
Loans applicable for Prepayment simulation must be created along with their associated Financial Objects and or Risk Objects in SEM Banking.
Standard settings
Besides activating the Standard BADI from this IMG activity, you must ensure that Prepayment Simulation flags for Standard Simulation is activated in either of two places:
SEM Banking Profitability Analysis (PA) - Within the Costing Rules associated with a loan's Financial Object, ensure that "Prepayments using BADI -internal solution" is selected in the attribute labled "Prepayment".
SEM Banking Risk Management (RM) - Within either Evaluation Types or Valuation Rules Associated with a Loan's Risk Object, ensure that the Prepayment attribute field is set to "Internal Prepayment Simulation". This attribute is found along with other attributes related to Loans" .
Important: For Both PA and RM, the table TJBA_PREP_FACTOR must be populated with rates to be used by the Simulation BADI. An IMG activity allwowing maintenance of this table is available.
Activities
Simply run this activity to activate the BADI. Changes to the BADI's Valuation method are not recommended as this BADI represents SAP's standard solution.
