Use
Prepayment simulation - Andrew Davidson example BADI.
Requirements
Loans applicable for Prepayment simulation must be created along with their associated Financial Objects and or Risk Objects in SEM Banking.
Standard settings
Besides activating the Andrew Davidson Example BADI from this IMG activity, you must ensure that Prepayment Simulation flags for External Solution is activated in either of two places:
SEM Banking Profitability Analysis (PA) - Within the Costing Rules associated with a loan's Financial Object, ensure that "Prepayments using BADI -external solution" is selected in the attribute labled "Prepayment".
SEM Banking Risk Management (RM) - Within either Evaluation Types or Valuation Rules Associated with a Loan's Risk Object, ensure that the Prepayment attribute field is set to "External Prepayment Solution" This attribute is found along with other attributes related to Loans.
Activities
Simply run this activity to activate the BADI. Changes to the BADI's Analysis and Valuation method are recommended as this BADI represents only a simple example of what is possible using the Andrew Davidson prepayment calculation engine.
Note that this unlike the internal SAP solution, this BADI requires the use of an extra Analysis method. Analysis is used to request market data required by the Andrew Davidson Prepayment engine.
