Use

Medication - Import External Drug Catalogs

It is intended that external drug and agent catalogs can be imported using a report which reads a file specified by a logical path and file name and imports this to the tables according to a transfer structure.

Requirements

  • Logical path and file names are entered.

In the maintenance function for the logical path names, you position the cursor on ISH_MED, select ISH_MED_IMPORT_AGENT and/or ISH_MED_IMPORT_BDCC and select the "Logical Path - Physical Path Assignment" option. Here you can enter the definite paths according to the operating system.

You then select "Definition of Logical File Names" and position the cursor on "ISH_MED". Here you can enter the definite file name on the detail screen.

  • The master data of the catalogs to be imported, must be created.
  • Input files are EXCEL tables in csv format with ";" as a field separator.

The structure of the input file is described in the Data Dictionary objects RN1ME_IMP_BDCC and RN1ME_IMP_AGENT.
