Use
The supplied standard Smart Forms can be overridden by customer Smart Forms.
A standard Smart Form can be overridden in different ways for various groups.
If a group is entered, the Smart Form is only overridden if the user belongs to this group. If there are entries with and entries without groups, groups definition is used.
When defining your own Smart Forms we recommend you use the standard Smart styles N2GL_PRINT and N2GL_View.
Requirements
You have created and activated a form in the transaction SMARTFORMS.
Standard settings
Activities
In the Standard Smart Form column you select the form which you wish to override.
In the Customer-Specific Smart Form column you enter the name of your form.
In the Smart Form Group column, you can optionally enter the name of the user group for Smart Forms, for which the entry should be effective. The name of the group can be freely selected. If you do not enter a group, the standard Smart Form is overridden for all users.
You can optionally maintain the user parameter N2GL_SMARTFORM_GROUP, by entering an existing group name as the parameter, in order to assign the user to this group.

Example
The standard Smart Form Display: Patient Information is entered for the Physicians group with the customer Smart Form Z_Pfadname1, for the Nursing group with the customer Smart Form Z_Pfadname2.
All users, whose user parameter N2GL_SMARTFORM_GROUP contains the value Physicians, will see the patient information in the application as determined in Smart Form Z_Pfadname1. The user with the Nursing value in the user parameter will see the information in the layout of Smart Form Z_Pfadname2. All users without these entries in the user parameter will see the patient information in the layout of the standard Smart Form.
